Here is a vintage American made Starrett four piece combination square set that is in excellent condition. It has been used so you will find some minor cosmetic imperfections but nothing that will hinder its usefulness. One of these imperfections is that the original owner lightly scribed his/her favorite numbers on the scale. You can see some patina in places on these tools. They are just spots. When I run my finger on them, I cannot feel them. Please don't let these flaw detract from what is otherwise a very nice used combination square set. The combination square has Starrett written on it, the bubble is intact, and the scribe is sharp. The reversible protractor has The L. S. Starrett Co. Athol, Mass U.S.A. No. 490. The bubble is also perfect and it moves around just as designed. The 12" scale has No.4RGRAD, THE L.S. STARRETT CO. ATHOL, MASS U.S.A., and HARDENED written on it. The center head is in almost perfect condition and nothing is written on it. All the pieces slide around easily and snug down tight wherever you want them to. Everything will work perfectly for you!
