Luxury German radio Grundig 4040 3D Klang. Fully restored

Radio Grundig 4040 3D Klang S/N 443 22885
I am presenting a historic and majestic beautiful and big radio Grundig 4040, distinguished by solid heavy wood case and remarkable clear sound, works with eight tubes and can be used on 220V AC,  although the radio operation is set to 110V AC.
This valued piece was manufactured in West Germany between 1954 to 1955. My radio Grundig 4040 was bought from eBay on 2015 and immediately restored totally with professionally and carefully keeping values and accuracy position of each parts replaced included some tubes like the magic eye and other components. Dial scale is in good state and has some imperfections on right side close to the tune knob (left side), please, see pictures.
This radio is extraordinary piece still is in excellent shape, the wood case was varnished and the front grill speakers was replaced with a new carefully keeping same patter on gold color, it makes this radio wonderful. Back cover is a copy exactly and well reproduced.
Radio works with excellent sensitivity on two AM bands MW1 and MW2 , two FM bands UKW1 and UKW2 both from 87 to 100 MHz and SW where is recommended to use external antenna. Actually the reception on FM and SW is by the internal FM antenna, in this case to use this antenna on SW is necessary to move the the ferrite antenna with the knob until you can see letter AUS in red color in front the magic eye window (Please see the video) For better reception specially on SW is recommended to use external antenna.
This radio use automatic tuning if you like to have two radio station with pre tune and I will sent to the buyer this radio with two preset radio station on AM 710Khz and 1130Khz and two on FM ready to use moving the motor handle from right to left side. I can't warranty if in your location exist any radio station on frequency where I did the preset, please check in the video details for automatic tune.
This radio can to reproduce audio from  cellphone or other music instrument pressing key T-A and connecting it to any female plug on the back of the radio center-bottom. I don't have any plug at this moment.
This piece can be used to play audio from a cellphone or other music system by the input named Tonabnehmer and pressing the key TON-ABN. If you like more information about this radio, please check on radiomuseum.org
