Beautiful The Hallicrafter S-40A Shortwave AM Radio Receiver Case & Headphones

Hallicrafters S-40A shortwave AM receiver with case and headphones.     It is in beautiful condition,  Because of its condition, it may have been refurbished at one point. If so it was very professional.   My untrained eyes see no indication of new paint, newer parts or touch up. I tested it by plugging it in.  It lights up and produces sound fairly quickly.  Switching the selector to the AM band,  It sounded great.  There is some static when switching the band selector, which may be normal  I am not familiar with operation, but I tried some other knobs, and most seemed to respond. It includes Trimm Headphones, but I did not test their operation. The leather on the handle of the case is broken on one side.  There is some tape where the AC power cord enters the cabinet, as seen in one picture.  It may be normal.  I could not figure out how to turn it off other than to unplug it.
The radio sits in the case and lifts out. The top of the case is secured by thumb screws. The case has four holes in the bottom, which may allow permanent mounting to case  if desired.  Please enlarge and study the pictures for best description, as my description is amateur.
Shipping is  calculated by FedEx based on distance, with no handling fee.  The radio is heavy.  About 40 lbs with packaging, so shipping is most likely expensive.
