    Description

    Pair of Antique Howes Boston Owl Andirons, Cast iron, c.1900. Each owl is sitting on a branch. The eyes are greenish yellow and made of glass. Both owls have molded inscription on the back “3000 2” and “Howes Boston”. S.M. Howes went out of business in 1930. The photos were taken with and without the flash. Each owl weighs 6lbs, 15 inches tall. Owls only, no stands. I am not a professional dealer. The information I provide is based on my own research of the item and could be incorrect or off on details.
