Vehicle DetailsHere we have a 1955 Chevy 150 4 door. This is a two owner car. Originally purchased from East Bay Chevrolet in Albany, California November 22, 1956. The Chevy has remained a California car it's entire life. I say this is a survivor not only due to the fact the body is straight and appears to have no rust, most of these 150 4 doors were either used in a demolition derby or as parts cars. As you can see in the pictures the body is super straight. This car starts, runs and drives. The previous owner had had the door dings and scratches repaired, hence the primer and guide coat. Many new parts were replaced: starter, water pump, master cylinder, all 4 wheel cylinders, fuel tank and sender. Removed parts are in their boxes in the trunk. Carburetor was rebuilt. Headlights, taillights, brake lights and blinkers all work. The interior is in great condition and appears to have been redone at some point. This car has had one repaint in the 1970's. Its original paint scheme was India Ivory over Tropical Turquiose. This car was in a PBS movie called "Golden Gate" and a Universal Studios movie called "Hearts and Souls". The Chevy comes with the original bill of sale from the dealership and original owners manual. This Chevy is being sold as is. No warranty is being expressed or implied. This car is 64 years young.
