Here's a beautiful, working, and all original Bristol Audiophone Senior horn radio speaker. The speaker was manufactured in Waterbury, CT in the early 1920's.
Condition is excellent. The speaker retains its original gold/copper paint, with no repainting, no touch-ups, no other restoration. The speaker driver is original, as are the connecting wires between the base and the driver housing.
The driver is good, and the speaker still works.
The speaker is approximately 20" high, with a 15" diameter bell. Shipping weight, properly packed, will be about 25 lb.
Please see my other auctions this week for the very rare Bristol Model D radio, with which this speaker was briefly offered in 1924.
Only the speaker is being sold in this listing. The radio is being auctioned separately. See my other listings.
That's about it. I will package everything properly so that it arrives at your doorstep safely. I have been shipping antique phonographs and radios for years, and if you check my feedback, you'll see that I know how to do it correctly. Buyer prepays and includes shipping.
